Throughout his career, Tony has built a number of successful media and technology companies. He was President and principal shareholder of Hollywood Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLL), the nation's premiere movie information service and developer of movietickets.com, which, he and his partners sold to The Times Mirror in 1996 and, later, helped merge into a public company.

Tony was also a co-founder of TV Data Technologies, LP, the world's largest TV listings and entertainment information provider, a principal shareholder of STATS, Inc., the world’s most widely distributed independent sports data provider (sold to News Corp in 2000).

Before his involvement in Internet technologies, Tony served as a senior executive of CableSouth, Inc. which he and his partner built into one of the largest independent multiple-system cable operators in the Southeast before its sale to Paul Allen's Charter Communications in 1995.

Tony serves as President of the La Jolla, CA based Farwell Capital, LLC, which manages his venture assets. He is also a founder and Managing Director of Fruition Ventures LLC, a closely held venture capital firm that invests and manages the venture capital assets of its partners.

A graduate of UCLA where he received a BA in Economics, Tony earned a joint International MBA (TRIUM) from the London School of Economics, HEC Graduate School of Business (Paris) and NYU Stern School of Business. He is also a graduate of the Stanford Business School Program for Smaller Companies.

Steven B. Katinsky
Co-Founder, President


As a co-founder (in 1993) and CEO of Hollywood Media, Inc. (NASDAQ: HOLL), (formerly Hollywood.com) Steve was an early pioneer in the area of streaming and interactive media. He led Hollywood.com from a nascent web venture through its growth as a primary producer and distributor of online interactive marketing and promotional campaigns for almost every Hollywood studio. Hollywood Media, which he and his partners sold to The Times Mirror in 1996, is also the developer of movietickets.com, and now a publicly traded company (NASDAQ: HOLL).

In 1998, Steve founded Supertuner.com, a technology company with highly developed, web/browser based, media-stream management systems. The company broke new ground with AJAX and WEB 2.0 functionality and holds a patented IP that is now part of one of the nation's leading patent pools.

In addition, in 2004, Steve co-founded AdEngage, a popular advertising network, where he is a board member and one of the principal shareholders. In 2002, he founded YarnMarket.com and later YarnDex.com, the largest online yarn e-commerce and information database sites, respectively.

Prior to co-founding Hollywood Online, Steve was also the founder of Movie Hotline, a movie information service in partnership with Gannett's USA Today. Movie Hotline boasted the first national movie locator service, which included 13,000 theater screens.

Steve is a founder and Managing Director of Fruition Ventures LLC, a closely-held venture capital firm focusing on information service and life science investments. The firm manages the venture capital assets of its founding partners. He is an active angel investor and has invested in several start-ups.

Steve holds a BA in Communications from Rutgers College, where he studied engineering, computer science, communications, public relations and advertising.

Michael D. Reynolds
Chief Financial Officer


As Chief Financial Officer, Mike is responsible for all financial, administrative, human resource and legal functions for ClosingCorp, and plays a key role in creating and executing the company’s corporate strategy. He brings more than 25 years experience in leading the financial and operations organizations of public and private companies, and has significant experience in raising capital, developing financial teams and infrastructure, and mergers and acquisitions with companies in the software, services and Internet sectors.

Prior to ClosingCorp, Mike was Executive Vice President & CFO of ProfitLine, a provider of Business Process Outsourcing solutions for Global 2000 companies and government agencies. He has also served as Vice President & CFO of Datatree Corporation (acquired by First American Financial, NYSE: FAF), a provider of document imaging and database management systems to the title insurance industry, Elemental Software (acquired by Macromedia, NASDAQ: MACR), a developer of web authoring tools to build database-driven Web sites, and WebSideStory (NASDAQ: WSSI), a Web site traffic analytics company. Mike also served as Vice President & CFO of Interactive Group (NASDAQ: INTE), an ERP software provider to manufacturing companies, where he completed the company’s initial public offering. He began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP and Fujitsu Systems of America, where he was responsible for the company’s daily financial operations.

Mike holds a B.S. in Accounting from the School of Accountancy at San Diego State University, and an M.B.A. from San Diego State University. Mike is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Tim Armbruster
Chief Development Officer


Tim is responsible for strategic direction and implementation of ClosingCorp’s products and technology. He brings experience in managing technology infrastructure and large software development teams, and has a background in delivering strategic technology initiatives in the real estate/mortgage industry.

Tim joins us from First American Corporation (NYSE: FAF), a Fortune 500 company with heavy focus on title insurance and real estate information services. He started in 2000 as a Senior Developer and J2EE architect responsible for the architecture of the company’s strategic Web Services and Web Sites. During his tenure there, he built and managed large (150+) software development teams (on and offshore) and rose to positions as Process Manager and Lead Architect before becoming Director of Software Development. Prior to that, Tim served as a Senior Web Developer at Raytheon Corporation.

Tim graduated from McPherson College with a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Joanne Tiffany
Senior Vice President, Marketing and Business Development


Joanne is responsible for the Marketing and Business Development efforts of Closing.com, the branded product of ClosingCorp Inc. She has spent her entire career providing services to companies to facilitate a real estate transaction. Prior to joining ClosingCorp, Joanne was Vice President of DataQuick Information Systems, the leading provider of real property information to lenders, title companies and real estate web portals. There, she led the development of value propositions that incorporate data into workflow automation systems for clients. Prior to joining DataQuick, Joanne worked for AT&T as a Financial Services Market Manager and, later, as a National Account Executive for two of the largest bank holding companies in the US.

Joanne holds a BS degree in Business Management from the University of North Dakota.

Kristin Ewald
Vice President, Content Development


Kristin writes, develops and manages all the content on ClosingCorp’s family of Web sites and marketing collateral and oversees the company’s community features. A former journalist and Senior Editor at Time Warner’s PEOPLE Magazine in New York, Kristin has also held positions at Microsoft (Executive Producer of MSN/Sidewalk.com), Gateway Corporation (Director of Web Content and Portal Services) and Intuit, where she led a team of editors assigned to make TurboTax software products the ultimate in user-friendly.

Kristin graduated from Lewis & Clark College with BA degrees in International Affairs and French.
